Fire truck Stand by Service

The Omaha Fire Department can provide EMS assistance at public events within the city of Omaha and also the Elkhorn and Millard Fire Districts. This service is provided by InService fire apparatus.The public should understand that these apparatus and personnel will still be available foremergency calls for service within their response jurisdiction. Even if they are at your event they may have to leave to respond to other emergency calls.

The fire trucks will be staffed by EMT's and paramedics. They have the capabilities to begin treatment of most medical emergencies prior to a rescue squad arriving at the scene.
