Special EventsOmaha Fire Department supports and participates in area health fairs, parades, block parties, and city functions throughout the year. We assists in community services for non-profit organizations such as the Salvation Army and the American Red Cross. The Joshua Collingsworth Memorial FoundationThe Joshua Collingsworth Memorial Foundation is honored to have the support of the Omaha Fire Department behind us in our mission to spread water safety awareness everywhere. The Omaha Fire Department knows the importance of safety education and continually strives to give each child a chance to understand how to be safe in their everyday life. By teaming up with Joshua's Foundation, the Omaha Fire Department is further illustrating their commitment to do whatever it takes to keep the children of our community safe and healthy. Joshua's Foundation is very thankful for the ongoing support of the Omaha Fire Department and is looking forward to visiting locals schools and educating children alongside such a distinguished and honorable force.
Have A Fire Station Birthday Party! Fire Station Birthday Parties are a great way for kids to interact with Firefighters from the Omaha Fire Department. 20 Birthday Parties are donated to charitable causes each year. The winner is awarded a Fire Station Birthday Party Certificate. The winner of the certificate will provide all party favors, including but not limited to: plates, cake, ice cream, etc… The Omaha Fire Department will provide the following:
Tour of the fire station, which includes:
Birthday parties will be held on Saturdays from 2-3pm.
As the tour is taking place, other firefighters will be setting up the birthday party area. The kids will eat cake and ice cream with Omaha’s Bravest while learning fire safety tips. If an emergency response happens before or during the party which requires all units from the station to respond, the party will be rescheduled by calling 444-3560.
